They gave him $200 million on top of streaming revenue.

I think he's just trying to give his pointless protest of Spotify some meaning. Why you would protest by switching to ****ing AMAZON I do not know.

Critical support for the IMF I guess.

What do you guys think of Neil Young's and Joni Mitchell's Spotify boycott?
I cancelled my sub. I'm sure it really hurt them, but I felt better. **** them anyway; I used to use Nazify all the time but I've had to find ways around it. I think it was the CEO's spineless "response" to criticism that did it for me. **** that guy. And Rogan. And all his listeners.

That's why I like Spotify. They didn't bow to the masses - they bowed to the profit. Rogan brings in big money & listeners. Very respectable choice.

Also a fan of JRE overall though. Entertaining and pretty moderate on the political points.

I was in a meeting at work today and everyone was "meh" on Neil Young and I respected them all a little less. It came up in a conversation about his jammy stuff with Crazy Horse. Just horrible take. Is there a heavier song than "Hey Hey, My My"? There is not.
