Johnny Rotten is bae but he's always been a poseur who just wants attention.

Unrelated but did you know that he raised Ari Up from The Slits' kids cause he's her stepdad and she couldn't get her **** together? Blew my head clean off my shoulders.

I think I actually learned that pretty recently as well. One of the kids should write a nasty tell all.

Yes, he writes about that at length in his second autobiography, Anger Is An Energy. John is also now full-time carer for his wife Nora, who has Alzheimer's.

Excerpt from Anger about raising Ari's children:

“As a life pursuit for the two of us [John and Nora], parenting Ari’s kids was almost depressingly educational: you have to realize that they come first. That’s very draining on the creative selfishness of being artistic. Because there is an element of selfishness in writing songs, the luxury of saying whatever you please. You have to get a little more in tune with the domesticity situations, and understand that you might not be quite bang on the money in that department. When I’m ranting and raving, there are other aspects to consider, and consider them I will.”

He also made Country Life butter commercials. He's a real mixed bag, that Rotten.

Lana Del Ray should do a cover album of popular songs throughout history...

I don't feel strongly towards Pet Sounds, Nevermind (both Nirvana's and Pistols') and Bob Dylan's discography (I love a few songs of his though). I know those artists and albums are quite influential but I never cared that much about them.

Why? Nirvana was cheesy? In Utero is great.
