Coverdale >>>>>>>>>> Plant

Cue much gnashing of teeth from Led Zep fanboys.

I am a Morello fanboy but there is not much to disagree with there. His riffs are derivative and simple but I still find them very contagious. And while he often relies on effects too much, you gotta admit he has performed a number of excellent solos.

Also, I never listened to his solo album but it was supposed to be pretty good and I thought I heard there were some acoustic tracks. Did you ever hear it?

I loathe AC/DC. I don't mind some bands that stick to a formula, but damn. Could you write a song that doesn't sound like the last one?

Let's be honest, what sort of vocals other than cacophonous screaming would fit The Dillinger Escape Plan? Unless of course you meant DEP is annoying as a whole than in which case Greg and I can only disagree.

On top of that, I'd add that RATM is one of the most faux-intense bands I've ever heard, and their 'energy' is so boring that I'd likely fall asleep at one of their shows.

Besides their debut, right?

You did mean that, right?

The instrumental side of their debut is better for sure, but I still would never get pumped up to Rage Against the Machine.

No, you would listen to KoRn's self-titled debut, right?

Nahhhh. When I want to get pumped, I typically fire up some Linkin Park. Upon realizing that something so horrendous actually exists, I usually gain such excess testosterone that my hormone-secreting glands are forced to vacate my body for 7 days (to save me from having a broverload).
