I'm not familiar, rym has it marked as Songhai music which sounds really similar to tishoumaren except for some distinctions in region.

What should I check out from them, the self titled albums?

Radio Mali is a great starting point if you don’t mind a compilation.

I like all his stuff that I’ve heard which has gotta be probably pretty close to all of it.

He did a record with Ry Cooder that's very good called Talking Timbuktu. The one after, Niafunké, is also very good.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

They combined Daft Punk level house with some of the best/most feel-good pop rap verses

1. Is that an insult?

2. The Black Eye Peas were out before Kanye. BEP should be the one that set the benchmark. Kanye should be the one whose worried if he's on par with the Black Eye Peas.

Colin Stetson should release his forgettable soundtracks under a different name to avoid tarnishing his discography.
