My friend recommended me this guy Oscar Aleman cuz he knows i like Django and his rec came with the comment that some ppl say he was the Argentinean Django, that he just as a good and so similar you cant tell them apart but from what I've heard from him so far, i dont think thats true.
He's good, dont get me wrong but his arrangements dont seem as guitar driven as Django instead it seems more focused on the overall sound of the band. I gotta listen to him more to see if he's just as good but so far he's not and it's not that hard to tell their sound apart.

Yea, i find his guitar playing and sense of melody very distinctive. At one point he can desperately attack the guitar and another point just chill or take a back seat to Grapelli (Their Violinist) who could swing a great lead as well.
They had great chemistry. Here's a vid i just found showing their group And here are some songs from him from i regularly bump

The Screaming Trees stole their sound from the Cult.

Unpopular Music Opinions
I've liked both, but don't hear any similarity-(except there's guitars in both )
Plus, The Cult formed in England in 1984 and Screaming Trees in U.S. in 1985 so it wouldn't have been physically possible for Screaming Trees to have stolen The Cult's sound.
