The Dark Side Of The Moon still sucks. Every year or so I think that I might have finally become boring enough to enjoy it in its entirety and give it another chance. It's so offensively, in-your-face bland that it doesn't even work as background music.

As a total noob that doesn't really listen to Pink Floyd, it was amazingly much easier to enjoy my first listen of "A Saucerful of Secrets" than it was to enjoy "The Dark Side of The Moon".

Yadda, yadda historical significance. Ok, that's fine, but why is it so boring? Gotta imagine it's been outdone a few dozen times during the time that's passed since.

Because it's a Pink Floyd album.

I mean if you go into a Floyd record expecting intensity, you're going to be pretty disappointed.

Money is the ****ing worst though.

Were you on some form of mind altering substance? Cuz if not, there's yer problem right there. You gotta beat yer brain into a bit of a mush to be able to enjoy that 'classic'. Or not. I don't know. Needs more distortion.

Being stoned never helped me with that lame-ass album.

One doesn't need drugs to enjoy the glory of Roxy Music.
