Their best record imo. Hole in the Sky, Symptom of the Universe, Megalomania, and The Writ are monster tracks. It's also phenomenal just as an album experience, it feels like half of its runtime whenever I listen to it.

I don't want to give the Chula impression that this sucks and there's no point to it. I think it's very important for this to exist as it is a very real and relevant end point for pop music and no matter how this exists it should exist and people should hear it, I'm just saying it sounds like ****. I know that's kinda the point and maybe it's my shortcoming that I can't shake hands with you on this and call it truly brilliant, but I simply can't because I don't like listening to it and it qualifies as bad pretentious to me.
