I grew up listening to it dude. I'm very familiar and ashamed of that fact.

Fair enough. I'm your senpai on this particular road, so let me know when it gets too tedious and I'll show you how to have fun again.

Migos are better MCs than Immortal Technique.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I just read that whole DT/cringe discussion and I just wanted to say that I really think Dream Theater is a pretty awful band. I've listened to probably all of their albums and I still haven't found anything all that listenable. I mean, sure, most music is listenable as such, but I don't get anything from their music aside from mild annoyance.

I honestly find LaBrie to be a terrible vocalist, because while he might have some range, his delivery is overcooked, phoney and frequently saccharine in the extreme. To my ears, he honestly sounds almost like he's mocking old school prog vocal styles. I can't think of a prog rock/metal vocalist that comes across to me as more maudlin and with a worse way of utilizing his voice. At times, he's legitimately hard to listen to. Straight up like nails on chalkboard.

Then there's everything else I don't like about DT, but that's another story.

The real question is if you're going to see them again?
