I understand that people like to sing along to tunes, I guess for some, catchy memorable lyrics are what sells a tune to them....but to me, a lot of times it just gets in the way of the music. To me, 75% of lyrics are nonsense.
and another unpopular opinion: Electro is not good dance music. and shouldnt even have the word 'house' tagged next to it. |

I meant it sucks. But that doesn't really prove my point. A better example would be to look at the top rock, I don't know who has corporate backing or not anymore, but I can tell you undoubtedly that most of those albums are terrible. Imogen Heap and Yo La Tengo are really good, but the other 23... I meant that most truly popular bands these days are making music like that, and by that I mean bad. All imo, of course.
