People making excuses for Limp Bizkit. The band is really awful and there's no way around that.

I actually listened to a few of their albums a number of months ago. Garbage tier music for sure.

1. Their unintentional/intentional hilarity is worth more to me than Deftones' mediocrity.

2. I can at least tolerate a band with Limp Bizkit's lack of trying whereas Deftones' failed experiments are downright tedious.

Deftones was always going to be a "cult following" type of band (even back then), otherwise you just weren't going to get it.

Wicked was "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" ... sort of, maybe. Never seen or read it myself, but I heard it was pretty wicked.
