Yeah, he was. But, I disregarded it because of how dumb, off-topic, and asinine it was.

Speaking of being off-topic, how about an unpopular opinion about music?

Good point. I think we've already covered my stance on Green Day, which I learned the hard away is about as unpopular as it gets around here, so....

I was thinking that Carrie Underwood deserves more recognition lately. That's probably unpopular.

I know I've heard her name, but I'm not sure I've heard any of her music.

So I find her on Wikipedia to see what she's made and look at her album covers.

They say you shouldn't judge by the cover, and that's good advice, but damn, those album covers do not inspire confidence that this is gonna be worth listening to.

I kind of hate this thought. There is so many albums out their that I feel like you kind of have to judge them by the cover to know whether you're going to listen to it or not.

Some of the best albums I've ever heard were the ones I took a gamble on cause I liked the album cover.

I took a gamble on Duster cause I like the color scheme of the album cover, and it paid off. It also has a striking similarity in composition to Wire - Pink Flag (sans pole and pink flag). I often wonder if there was some connection. I sometimes wonder maybe Duster was paying homage to one of there favorite albums.
