The Beatles are a good example of a band who ended up influencing a lot of ultimately better musicians, singers, songwriters, etc. I used to think I hated them because they were so ubiquitous, but in reality you can't escape their shadow.

I love The Beatles solely for their music. I couldnt care less about their popularity. Most if not all the albums have a ton of great tracks and Sgt Pepper is just perfection.

I'm a Rolling Stones fan first, but I also enjoy The Beatles. Love them or hate them, they are always good for a conversation. I probably had more conversations about The Beatles than any other band.

I'm just about to introduce my daughters (aged 9 and 8) to The Beatles' discography. They love Julie Taymor's Across the Universe, so we've already got a foot in the door.

Can't deny this. I've had conversations with customers and people in general about music and The Beatles always come up no matter what.
