Just in case Elphe-****ing-nor didn't see my post because he needs to be insulted.

That sounds like "a bunch of sour grapes."

I can see if someone is into groups Negative Approach, Angry Samoans or T.S.O.L that they would be able to get into Lost Society. Unless he is totally unfamiliar with Hardcore, Crossover or Thrash I don't see it as the wrong album to recommend. You're just salty Lost Society is better than anything you ever heard. *drops mic*

Elph I pose this question to you, why listen to any Heavy Metal when you can listen to NoMeansNo - Wrong?

Insecure about what? Insulting boring ****s who might as well be listening to nothing but Belle and Sebastian for all that they're indie twat ****s? I'm not insecure about that at all. You probably even like Belle and Sebastian.

No seriously that's a ****ty thrash band. Nothing more to add. That band sucks.

Honestly, this was me circa 2008 when I joined here. There were so many genres I just would not listen to but KNEW they sucked, and had no problem saying so. Since the likes of "Love or Hate?" and my current thread I've discovered I was, in most cases, almost 100 percent wrong, and I know there's still tons and tons I need to hear and understand about certain genres, which is why I will never say things like "Punk is ****" or "Jazz is boring" anymore. Slowly (very ****ing slowly) and with initially great resistance and trepidation, I'm being dragged into the light, blinking and screaming, but the screaming has largely stopped, and now I'm looking around and discovering it's not such a bad world out there after all. There IS life beyond the music I've listened to for most of my life.

Why even be a fan of post punk if you're not going to like anything that isn't post punk approved? You're a ****ing phony who's just looking for punk kudos like a loser.
