i mean, except they share very little in common. i like over the top pop music and silly metal music, Nickelback are none of the above. they make boring, whiny cock rock about the good ol’ days. and when they try to be an actual hard rock band they sound even worse cause they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing.

still mad that Chad Kroeger married Avril Lavigne too, she was my ****ing love at 10 years old.

I'd be thoroughly alright with singing "Rockstar" for karaoke... assuming I had any desire to sing karaoke.

Oh yeah, and "How You Remind Me" is still hot garbage and I hate my entire generation for making it a massive hit.

At least they used a Dimebag riff to make one good riff-based rock song.

There are two of my favorite styles, among others. Though I don't always talk about these albums, I am crazy about them like Chula Vista is crazy about Led Zeppelin albums - especially the bold ones. If I knew your taste better I probably I would have been able to pick other albums more catered to your taste. Originally I had ten albums, but I pared it down. I figured you may have come across some of them and already found them un-enjoyable. So I thought that way too many and I am lucky if you are reading my post let alone to try any one of recommendations. Maybe less is more so I pick a six-pack, maybe just three bold ones, and at bare-minimum check out "...And Don't The Kids Just Love It" and "Graceless" for Post-Punk and Brit Pop respectively.

Brit Pop (more like Brit Pop Revival)
Sulk - Graceless

Post-Punk (softer side)
Television Personalities - ...And Don't The Kids Just Love It
Felt - Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty

Post-Punk (harder side)
Middle Class - Homeland
Pylon - Chomp
Dog Faced Hermans - Hum of Life
