Justin Bieber is, I think, absolutely terrible.

Flavourless and annoying is how I'd describe what I've heard of him.

catchy + fun + entertaining means enjoy it for what it is and don't fight it out of necessity.

Wait, wait, wait... So people who don't like her music are pretentious somehow? I'm not sure I see how that's supposed to work. Do all unpretentious people enjoy Taylor Swift? Is that the main trait that divides fans and non-fans of her music?

I'd hate to feel like I had to mention whatever mainstream pop I do like in my defence, because that shouldn't be necessary.

I honestly, just think Taylor Swift is horribly bland. Sometimes even a bit annoying.

I just think she's bad. How's that pretentious?

Either I'm totally soulless or Swift is just a garbage artist whose music is pretty uninteresting. Probably both.
