Well, it would be the same criticism as if someone were to take something that you enjoyed in your listening career, and still love today. You'd be baffled by it just as much as I'm baffled by it.

At the expense of making my music exciting? I don't think so. Also, I'd like to see you play what I play, I don't think you could do it (probably because you don't want to given that your taste sucks).

Says the guy that doesn't have any chops to speak of.
You bitches need to quit barking and start biting. There needs to be a separate thread of you two uploading Youtube videos playing each other's material.

Thing is though, while I might not agree, I can certainly understand why someone wouldn't like Captain Beefheart.

Does an Adele cover work?

I know, but in a previous post, you were baffled by Chula saying he didn't like the things that you make, or the artists that you post about. It's the same criticism that you're throwing out towards things that he likes. Doesn't make either of them boring or talentless.

Oh. Well then forgive me. I'm sure you know what I'm getting at otherwise though.

Just so I'm clear, your point is that citing reasons why I don't like something is somehow inferior to the response "nah"?

"Hey, I can solo over that" only works for so long as a songwriting format.

No. I'm saying you can't say something is boring when it's evidently not. Saying you don't like is different. I wouldn't call your music boring if it wasn't my taste.

What should I call music that bores me?

Not to your taste, usually.
