Yes. Hair metal was a derogatory term for glam metal and the associated AOR bands.

I'm very familiar with WASP and I like them and that tune okay, but in my opinion it's nowhere near as interesting or resonant harmonically, melodically, in terms of the arrangment, etc. as the Alcatrazz tune I posted (or Winger's "Battle Stations" for that matter). Those first two Alcatrazz albums were some of the best stuff ever, in my opinion--not just for hair metal.
