That's how horrible Hair Metal is, you can't even speak about it without sounding like a moron cause it is so ridiculous.

It was the hardcore punks that were not into the mainstream day-glo MTV stuff which Hair Metal was a part of. I don't get how that I repeated what some punk says makes me a moron. All I am saying is Hair Metal is so bad it makes you look bad even bringing it up in casual conversation.

Too Fast for Love, Shout at the Devil, and Dr. Feelgood all prove you wrong. Motley Crue understood music better than most hair bands. They have much more than one or two songs that ever peak my interest or get anh notoriety, a singer who was great for the band's brand of glam metal, a serious case of unspent energy, and definitely metal lyrics that didn't come close to the same bombast or cheesiness of other hair bands. And if they did, it was good bombast and cheese.
