Says the guy who constantly defends 4'33" as art. Bowie had a few miss hits but the vast majority of his stuff is worth a listen.

Stupid response. It's like saying driving fast (like Nascar) doesn't equal driving skills or talent.
Check this out and tell me there's no talent.

@Chula
^you miss the point then. Just because someone can move their hands quickly on a guitar doesn't automatically make them more talented than someone that can play technically. Plenty of great musicians don't need to play fast to be considered talented. |

Stupid response. It's like saying that driving fast in a car and crashing directly into a pole equates to driving skills, and that good drivers disprove that there are really ****ty drivers who go fast.

Done beat you to that point. Should we put old man Vista to bed now? It's your turn to change him.

Tons of guys can play really fast ****ty. Kinda like the guy that floors his gas pedal and ends up hitting something. But there's a ****load of talent that goes into being able to play really fast and still make a musical statement.
Steve Morse Allan Holdsworth John McLaughlin Guthrie Govan Ron Thal Shawn Lane Paul Gilbert Paco DeLucia Albert Lee Angel Romero And hundreds more. It's late and I know you guys are just trying to yank my chain, but I've spent thousands of hours practicing on how to play really fast while staying musical. Good night boys.
