I haven't listened to too much old Weezer, but while I remember not hating it presently, I did despise "My Sweater" back in the day. So I guess we agree on something for once.

I'm pretty much indifferent to "good" Weezer (I stopped there tho so I don't have context for that). I wont listen to them voluntarily, but if someone else does I wont make a fuss. this does apply to a lot of rock bands tho.

I feel like the only important piece missing from The Blue Album is Pink Triangle. Weezer may not have that many good songs but the ones they do have are REALLY good.

The Blue album and Pinkerton were pretty good but even from the beginning they made cheesy ass songs where they would pander to the mainstream crowd.

Buddy holly starts with "Whats with these homies dissing my girl, why do they gotta front?" it's like they wanted to be a commercial band but at the same time wanted to keep some alternative cred. Later on they totally sold out and by the time they made that awful Beverly Hill song i had enough of them.

That's exactly how I feel. I'm pretty indifferent to the group as a whole, but on the Blue Album and their lastest album as well, there's a handful of fantastic songs.

What's the best track on that latest album? I'll check it out.

It's called "Throw Me in the Garbage."

Igneo is Zu's best album and far surpasses anything off of Carboniferous.

Hmm, off the top of my head I'd probably suggest California Kids. I'd throw a Youtube link in but I'm on mobile at the moment.

I got it on Spotify. Sounds good, actually. Kind of sappy sad nostalgia.

Gotta show some love to The Green Album too.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
