I don't know if it's different in Britain, but in my experience most people around our general age probably haven't listened to more than one or two Bowie songs in their life, if that. The only people who give a **** about Bowie are older people and music nerds.

Are you retarded? Kill yourself.

Yeah this, especially among my generation. It's a shame, really.

You're getting sloppy on your insults. You resulted to name calling and telling me to kill myself.

My rating for your insult: 4/10. I've seen better from you.

@Frown

you kinda said it yourself, he has his moments..

Though not the most creative guitarist Slash is fairly skilled at creating good rock/blues riff.
i say blues cause there is something very traditional in his guitar playing that sounds heavily inspired by the blues and traditional Rock n roll.

The bad thing is he is also a stunt guitar player.
you could smell his solos coming from a mile away if you could smell music.

Bowie must be more popular here. Everyone I know with at least a passing interest in music is into him. Though maybe I am overestimating his popularity in the mainstream.

Slash came along at a time when everyone was playing superstrats into huge racks and doing all of the whammy tappy whiddly diddly BS that had worn thin by that time. Here's a guy with a bare bones Les Paul plugged into a Marshall playing 70s style bad ass hard rock stuff.

I give him props for milking it for all it's worth although lately he comes across as kinda pathetic. Lose the hat dude.

One of my best mates isn't into Bowie. He's into Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert and stuff like that.

I don't like Daft Punk.
