Yes, he's a bit sloppy, but I like the mistakes in his playing -- it lends character and excitement. I don't like perfect, journeymanlike guitar playing as a rule. And his sonic palette for guitar production is unmatched.

Bonham's definitely my favourite part of Zeppelin. Without him their music would be way too standard.
