If you ever get the chance, this guy puts on the best live show ever. They sound like punk rock James Brown, and the whole time he was exposing himself and others, recruting hobos with roller skates and american flags for capes to throw bananas at the audience, and overall, just being the best frontman Ive ever seen live. Meanwhile the keyboardist looks like hes withdrawing from opiates on stage, and throwing his disgusting shoes around. Fucking awesome.

i've always wanted to see them but it's always been 18+ shows. Now I know why.

I've been to a couple of festivals, so it's hard to remember everything I saw there, but I'll try for a general overview.

The Good:
Bob Dylan (07)
Rob Zombie (02 and 05)
Tori Amos (05)
Elvis Costello (07)
Smashing Pumpkins (07 and 08)
Willie Nelson (08)
Korn (04)
Nels Cline (08)
My Ruin (02)

The Bad
Alkaline Trio (06)
Chevelle (04 and 05)
Kittie (02)
Amos Lee (08)

The Ugly
Sevendust (04)
Whoever the hell opened for The Pumpkins on the Fillmore show I caught.

That's kind of a rough list. There's tons more that just aren't coming to my mind right now, including stuff from festivals and the video game convention I do security for (which is generally some pretty amazing stuff).

I lucked out and got to see him with Deerhunter at a free all-ages show in Brooklyn. I don't think I had my ID yet at the time too, so I might as well have been 17.

Flobots 10/10, astounding live. Better than studio.

SOAD-9/10-Would be 10/10 if Daron would sing better; but I guess he makes it up with crazy stage antics.
Rush-9/10-What can I say? Great show, great environment.
MSI-9/10- Crazy energy; the never-ending mosh.
AFI-8/10- Davey is losing his voice. ._.
Keith Urban-8/10-Don't remember this one too much.
MCR-5/10; Gerards Energy=Good; Gerards singing=bad.

No...that is way random...I could say that Nirvana would be 1 because I actually saw them with Pearl Jam and The Red Hot Chili Peppers when they first broke...I have seen Tool twice and they were awesome both times but I saw them once in a small venue and once in a stadium. Rage I saw once and they were awesome that was around 1996 and I spent a summer as a Phish head in college in 1994 and have seen them at least 20 times...I would say Nirvana is number one but after that....?
