What? Did you READ the list?

Pearl Jam, Megadeth, Korn, Audioslave, Jimi Hendrix (although how he'd collect it is beyond me), Green Day (ish). Nirvana (same as Jimi), Tool..

Point taken?

ok then.
I assumed you were refrringt oe evry name on the list.
And pearl jam isn't deserving of an award unless it's worst band ever.

and neyo rings a bell (if I'm pronouncing it right)

I must concede. Tool does look like the appropiate option.
Since all the other noteworthy bands don't have all their members.
And the rest just suck

http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2006/... Half of your list isn't even nominated (Assuming this is what your talking about) seriously where'd you pick up this crap? Like Linkin Park, although I'm a fan they havn't released a song (Besides that excuse for a remix with Jay-Z that was entertaining for about 2 weeks) in about 3 years. And Nirvana lol? You're smokin crack aren't ya kid?

And for those of you asking who Ne-Yo is his songs are now going onto the radio, one of them is called...Radio is it? Although I had a soft spot for that song, now he's released a song called Sexy Love and that's ruined it

No no no this isn't for the ones that were nominated, I was just putting bands up that would be good to earn an award whether they're nominated or not.

It was just a wondering kind of thread.

But still, alot of the bands here havn't released an album/song in ages, and a band like Nirvana... Kurt Cobain has been dead for what is it...12 years, and Jimi Hendrix? 36 years ago, I just don't see the point in nominating people/bands like that.
