Default The Good The Bad & The Queen

Damon Albarns new project.

Features Paul Simonen of The Clash , Simon Tong from The Verve & is produced by Dangermouse.
First single is out in October.

Sounds interesting to say the least. I guess this means the new Blur E.P. he promised at the end of the year is history.

I'm prepared aswell. But, hopefully it will be as good as it sounds. Even with the awful album name.

Paul Simonon and Damon Albarn are 2 great musicians so I think this band should be wicked.

I think it's a huge disappointment. It's far from original! Every song sounds similar to the one before it, and also to older Gorillaz stuff. I used to like what they did, but these songs are just boring rip-offs. They use the concept of constantly repeating little riffs. Except this time, the riffs aren't catchy, nor funny, not even beautiful. They're a bore, and hearing it once is worse enough, but then they get repeated over and over... Huge disappointment!

I really like them. I can't see how you could dislike them... it feels like the obvious transformation for Damon to take, and I think he's done it amazingly well. Each song is beautiful in its own right.
