Default The Musicbanter Hall of Fame Nominations

Okay, so here goes...

I'm going to start the MusicBanter hall of fame. I shall explain how this works. Basically, I'm going to post up someone that I feel should be inducted into the Musicbanter hall of fame followed by an argument for why they should be inducted. You guys then have to either 'agree' or 'disagree' whether that person should be inducted, followed by a reason why (optional). I will not be nominating every person, as I don't have a good enough music taste. I'm leaving that to you guys. Send me a PM with the person you would like to be up for induction, followed by the argument for that person and I will post it up (giving you the credit, of course.)

David Bowie

The Thin White Duke, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane... so many different personas, so many different eras and so many different ways to inspire the world. Bowie was Rock n Roll personified, a camp, glitzy performer who oozed cool and breathed charm. If anybody deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame then it's Bowie.

Agree or disagree?

Agree.
Rarely does an artist span decades and change with the times, creating great music in the way David Bowie has.

Yep he`s in it for me.

People like Madonna jump on bandwagons , Bowie created them.

Bowie has been unanimously voted as the first person to be inducted into the Musicbanter hall of fame. The next inductee was chosen by swimintheundertow.

Radiohead

One of the most, if not the most, influential artists of the 90's. From the immature Pablo Honey to pure genious Ok Computer, all of their albums are great. So many bands put out their debut album 3 times and consider themself good but, Radiohead has shown great range and is a great band.

Agree or disagree?
