THE PIXIES
An alternative rock band of the late 80's, they were a big influence on Nirvana with albums such as Surfer Rosa, Doolittle, and Trompe le Monde. Theyv'e also branched of to make other groups like The Breeders, AThe Catholics, and Frank Blacks solo career. Recently reunited, theyv'e completed a World Tour.

Having heard Surfer Rosa, Doolittle and Bossanova... I can't seem to spot any Kim Deal basslines that were ripped off by Novoselic, so i don't know where you're going with that statement... Krist's basslines remind me more of Black Flag than anything... In short, anyone who sincerely thinks Nirvana are a complete ripoff of Pixies is full of crap.

I think Pixies are great, but i disagree, just for the hell of it.
