In the context of guitar rock music being overly technical to the extent that I notice it and it becomes a distraction then yes.
All those people who are mentioned in best guitarist/bassist/drummer threads all tend to be in bands i`m not much of a fan of , so make of that what you will. Besides , I never said I disliked Fall Of Troy.I said it wasn`t anything special.And I stand by that what I heard sounded like generic guitar rock regardless of whatever sub genre you`d place it in.

The next nomination comes from Uglycasanova. THE EAGLES A Bluegrass/Country Rock band of Southern California the Eagles were an influential band who have lasted from the early 70's until now. With 6 platinum albums and a rumored 7th, they have recently released a DVD for their Farwell Tour(which I own ). And um....Hotel California. |
