As someone stated earlier, if it was "genuine contenders" than this would simply repeat what every music journal ever has said.
And Thrice isn't my favorite band. I just find them them to be a very original band. If they don't make it whatever, but I would think the point of this thread would be to identify what the taste of MB as a whole are.

Just because they`re genuine contenders doesn`t mean they are going to get in.
I just think the names listed here should be great , original , influencial and actually made a difference , that doesn`t have to be well known. For example if you were to pick a reggae artist for this the most obvious choice would be Bob Marley , but on the other hand if it wasn`t for the likes of people like Lee Perry and what he put into place , Bob Marley probably wouldn`t be anywhere near as successful as he was. And yet i`ve hardly ever seen Lee Perry even mentioned on this forum even though the guy was considered a genius in his field.
