Jethro Tull gets in.

Next possible inductee was nominated by guitar777

Professor Longhair

I'm recommending Professor Longhair up for nomination for the Hall of Fame, because he was one of the founding fathers of the New Orleans style of piano. Also i'm recommending him up for nomination because he was just an all around amazing pianist.

Nope, you can't agree on someone you have nominated.

I'm going to be an arse and end this nomination early, because I don't think anyone will vote and I want the MB hall of fame to get some interest again.

So, next possible inductee is nominated by....ME!

Muse

Muse have divided opinions everywhere, some loving them and some hating them. But for those who love them (myself included) there is so much there to love. Each album epic, overblown and brilliant, they have managed to go against the grain of music lore and release a fantastic album every time. With Black Holes and Revelations looking like it will be one of, if not the, album of the year and Supermassive Black Hole being their highest positioning single to date, Muse are yet again setting the standards for what a supergroup should be.

Agree, because they are in my personal hall of fame (its actually a cupboard).

Muse are consistenly bringing out music which seems to pour a bucketload of craziness and nervous tension into short songs with energetic guitar lines and great musicianship. I absolutely love them. They've already inspired the formation of tons of new bands, although these bands are usually rubbish because of the skill required to play decent Muse-style music. To my ears, they sound completely original and even in 50 years its likely that you'll still be able to recognise Muse music from all other bands before and since, because it defies copyists.

In terms of live performance, Muse make most other bands seem like a joke.

Anyone remember when they headlined Glastonbury and everybody laughed? And then they stole the show? Yeah, that's why they should make it into the Hall of Fame. So, we have one yes and one no. Can we please have more yes'!
