VINYL! wooooo
any vinyl collectors here?
what do have? where do you shop? i tend to buy the more abstract/experimental albums i want on vinyl.. i just find that music like that sounds so much better in its raw analogue form. I'm also a bit of a collector.. half the records i own i consider more a peice of art than just a way to listen to music.. theyre beautiful. Most valuable i have is probably Tool - Lateralus, double gatefold, 2x Picture LP. Holographic finish and printed sleeves. rather nice

I have heaps of them, mostly my mums from the 70's.
My most recent records: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Abbatoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute Limited edition (only 500 made!)

I don't have a player, so having vinyl would be useless. Well, not entirely, I'd love to hang a bunch on the walls. But that would become an expensive obsession. :')

I have a load of vinyl stashed away somewhere.
I`d love to have my whole collection in just vinyl just to see what it looks like. I miss great big huge gatefold album sleeves. I have a Nirvana/Jesus Lizard split single on blue vinyl , saw it going on ebay for 100 quid. I bought mine for 1.50.

I've already said this but I don't have enough money to have a vinyl collection becauase I barely have money to have a cd collection. When I get a job and of the sorts I'll have one then but as of now, nothing.
