Default Bowie and Bruce

I don't really listen to the Think White Duke or The Boss but I've heard a few tracks that don't completly suck, if any of you more learned people could give me your top five for each so I can check something out, I'd appreciate it.

Try a mix of both popular and obscure. Thanks.

Someone else will do the popular ones so here`s my 5 favourite obscure Bowie tracks....

1. Width Of A Circle
2. Port Of Amsterdam
3. Look Back In Anger
4. Always Crashing The Same Car
5. Chant of the Ever Circling Skeletal Family

I know you want a top 5 Big3, but if you want Bowie then the Ziggy Stardust album is a must have.

Wouldn't recommend Springsteen to anyone...just my personal taste, no offence to fans.

I don't know much Springsteen but I think his Human Touch album was classed as pretty good. My dads got it, I never minded it, I just hated the Pony Boy song. But the rest of that album had some solid stuff I guess.

Bruce's Albums

It would appear anything between 1980 and 1992 would be your best bet.

I sorta knew this board wasn't the place to ask about Bruce Springsteen, he's too American and too...strait away, but I figured I'd give it a shot. The fans of his are tyrancial and you can't get a intellectual answer out of them.

I've realized that bands are fun, but most of their songs are embarassing to sing at 50. Im hoping to find some inspiration in more poeticlly inspiried artists.

Right you are.

Alladin Sane would be the next best thing.
