Well, yes, the album sales for Greetings and The Wild both picked up after Born To Run hit it big. I think that was the first collaboration with producer Jon Landau.

Funny thing is, MTV got to Bruce, too. He'd always been scruffy and skinny. Along comes MTV and suddenly, he's been in the gym, shaved and showered. LOL. Suddenly he had to look good, too. My Mom asked me, "Have you ever heard of Bruce Springsteen? He does a song 'Dancing in the Dark'. He's so handsome!".

"Uh, yea, Mom, I have 5 of his albums."

Yeah. And just imagine, without the video for Dancing in the Dark, Friends would never have been the same.

Holy ****, I heard "Mrs. MacGrath" from the Seeger Sessions. Wow, maybe I was raised on Irish Music and am therefore bias, but this song is GD amazing.

Please check it out.

As for Bruce, I dunno. One of my friends did Devils and Dust at a school concert, and it was pretty damn good, but I dunno any of his stuff.
