I read a lot, and I like having some background music on. It's just that it takes me out of my concentration. I need something instrument-only, and not to energetic or fast either. Maybe a bit lounge/rockish? We Vs. Death works for me, but it's really the only thing up till now.
Any suggestions?

Try 90s indie like Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, Pavement, and such.
