Nobou Uematsu/Final Fantasy
This doesnt quite fit into any other genre. It's instrumental but not classical and it's far from any of the others so I'm placing it here and the mods and arrange it accordingly if they see fit.
So, anyway, Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of the music for the Final Fantasy video game series is amazing. I own the FFIX soundtrack in it's entirety and I've collected tracks via Limewire of FFVII, VIII, X and X-2. Its beautiful in its ambiance and simplicity. The melodies are catchy, melodic and all-around great to listen to. I love it. I was a little interested in everyone's opinions on the music, or maybe even the game series since it's my favorite.

Oh god, I couldn't take that...He's the guy from Life is Beautiful, right?
Oh, and Uematsu did work on 10's Soundtrack, but it was in collaboration with Masashi Hamauzu and Junya Nakano. I didn't know that. Just checked, whups. |
