yeah i know theres a worst band thread..but what bands music just lacks any skill whatsoever....or is just outright stupid.. my vote goes to the murderdolls

for the first time ever, lordi will get my vote in something.

The White Stripes. I just can't see what all the hype is about.

The Darkness-The most blatant rip-off band ever, and they aren't even bothered about it. You try and look at Justin Hawkins smug, gorky face without wanting to punch it... it's impossible....

There is probably plenty more, but why get caught up on Dumb bands when I could be listening to some good music and cheeeeeeling....

Yeah, Panic at the disco's music is as bad as there name - certainly deserved to be flamed dumb.

No they don't.... their music isn't very good, granted, but they aren't dumb. Like I said, a few of the songs on their album are very original. Just because they are all mainstream emo and are on very close terms with Fall Out Boy doesn't mean that everyone should flame them. Hop off the bandwagon, and you will see that while they aren't brilliant they aren't dumb.

Rogue Traders, You people may have been lucky enough not to have heard them. Fronted by a totally annoying chick from "neighbours" (crappy crappy Aus drama) completely repeditive and horrible and dumb. I wouldn't hit too many people in the face with a shovel, but she'd be one of them.

But really, its a matter of opinion, I don't think they are anything more than a bunch of emo's who can't produce one solid song - they havn't done anything that makes me think they are talented.

Interweaving very tenuous elements of electronica into your music does not automatically designate it innovational or imaginative.

They play generic 'metalcore' (i'm using that term very loosley here), are huge on fashion and have a horrible screamer.

Yeah, while they do kind of suck, the majority of their lyrics are actually pretty good and they aren't really just fall out boy with synths with the exception of the vocals, they're actually pretty different. They're alot more original then people give them credit for.

People don't give them credit because they just dismiss them as 'another Fall Out Boy'. I don't really like them and their album was pretty poor, but they are original and their songs do have depth, no matter what these people who have hopped on the bandwagon believe.

The dumbest band I know is err Meiloff. A Dutch band, who think they're tough ****. But they suck, and I'm quite sure they suck each other too.
