I'll be checking out gay later this week. Too many people are talking about it.

First album from this year is sublime and all over the ****ing place. This one has a lot more focus, and seems to be a concept album built around an 8 part poem. It involves a man being tricked into becoming the warden of Hell. It’s rad, but I’ll have to listen more to figure out what I think.

This thing. Maybe it's just me, but this just sounds like a worse interpretation of the bombastic, chamber-y elements of The Soft Bulletin (Butler is an objectively better vocalist than Coyne, although not as good a songwriter). First track is good but as a whole it's a bit too repetitive.

I think, often times, an album's reputation does it more harm than good.

Where do you live that you got a foot of snow in the beginning of October?
