^ I've been digging the new TKDE album a lot lately. Great for reading and commuting. Need to play that one again soon now that I'm well familiar with the new one.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I really enjoy both Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation because of their ability to create some incredibly atmospheric and creepy sounding music. I have been known, on more than one occasion, to put on creepy music before I go to sleep to inspire some kind of nightmare, and Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble has worked wonders in that department. However at the end of the day, my favourite neo-jazz group still has got to be Bohren & der Club of Gore. I have lost track of how many papers, blog posts, or chapters I have written while listening to Black Earth (my favourite album by them)

SUCK - TIME TO SUCK (1970)
Debut and only record from South African hard rock band active from '70 - '71.

THE ELECTRIC PRUNES - I HAD TOO MUCH TO DREAM (LAST NIGHT) (1967)
Some sources claim that is the album title, others claim its self titled. Can anyone clear this up?

THE ELECTRIC PRUNES - UNDERGROUND (1967)

LOOP - THE WORLD IN YOUR EYES (1988)
Collection of Loop EP's. Filled a gap in my library.

Drag City reissue of Royal Trux self-titled 3rd lp ... more listenable than I was expecting, I've got it on the background for a 2nd play right now ... the last of their full-lengths (or EPs) that I didn't have in some form ... you have to listen through the skrank and clamor but the songs are there and they're pretty good ... it's tempting to learn 'em all just to demonstrate to myself what the structures and melodies are underneath ... though for them it is fairly stripped down, at that, being just rhythm (often acoustic) guitar, drums, vocals, maybe a bass, often a single overdubbed lead guitar ... I wonder if they were trying to cover up their alleged incompetence or their actual songwriting ability by disguising themselves as a noise band?

Gifts from Enola - Loyal Eyes Betrayed the Mind ... T'was Vury Good post rockage.

Dirty Elegance - Ode to Bartleby ... Well I've been playing the **** out of Finding Beauty in the Wretched lately so I figured I'd pick up their other album. Very good, but I prefer Finding Beauty.

Dessa Darling - A Badly Broken Code

Doomtree's Dessa Darling's first studio release, very much looking forward to listening to this later on, but for now... psychology and English await me :/
