Sigh - Scenes From Hell (2010)

It's not even February yet and we already have a headlining contender for black metal album of the year. Porn-film funk horns and weird symphonic tendencies abound in this pummeling, vivid thrasher of a journey into the depths of Jigoku, and its one hot damned fun experience from my initial impressions so far!

i really can't relate to black metal. i checked out some youtube vids of the album you mention, and each track sounds the same to me - just a blur of screams and guitar.

an acquired taste i guess!

Yeah, my brother is a big fan of black metal, but I have trouble differentiating artists, much less songs.

Sufjan Stevens - Songs for Christmas (2006)

I wish I had discovered this about a month earlier. Nonetheless, it is great.

Great stuff... Star of Wonder is a hell of a song, Christmas or not. Have you heard the remix of it with Aesop Rock's None Shall Pass from Illinoize?

****ing incredible track.

Areknamés - Areknamés

Autechre - Amber

Jack Dangers - Loudness Clarifies / Electronic Music From Tapelab

Sleeping People - Sleeping People

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
