EDIT: Ok after going back and doing some research I learned that they worked together (which makes a lot more sense than plagiarism) and I'm digging the album, totally what I need right now I also downloaded this little beauty Kenichiro Nishihara - Life I gave a few people his 2008 album, Humming Jazz which was a beautiful blend of jazzy instrumental hip hop beats with a few guest MC`s, here`s hoping this follow up is just as good if not better! |

thanks to jackhammer for sending me a link to Velvet Cocoon's Genevieve. i'm a little apprehensive to talk too much in depth about the album since black metal is not a genre i have too much familiarity with. i will say, though, that i am very pleased and surprised to hear the places they take this album. honestly, it is doing more than i thought possible with black metal. maybe it is just my naivety with the genre, but i am really enjoying it. and if it is just my naivety and there are more bands like this out there...i am game for any recs. btw, jackhammer, you caught me at the perfect moment with this album. i've been slowly venturing more and more into black metal in recent weeks so this album was just what i needed to kinda boost me along. thanks!

^^ That is a top album, really goes to show that across the pond they can make Black Metal. And props for the Bolt Thrower album 81, that is a mad album, if you need any of their other albums, give me a shout.

The Tay - We Are the Tay This is the first album from a new hiphop producer. I downloaded it because it was free but it's actually a good album. If anybody wants to check it out here's the bandcamp link: The Tay |

album you have to hear after that with Mick Karn ex-Japan bassist on it, this blew me away. Pete Murphy of Bauhaus was on vox and they only did one album, it's up there with the weirdest synth albums. |

Silent Majority is a Swedish jazz/hiphop band that put out two albums in the mid 90s. Nya does vocals, and among various other musicians, the phenomenal Erik Truffaz plays trumpet. Their albums are long out of print, but Nya has uploaded them for all to enjoy. If you like jazz, if you like hip hop - if you like awesome, relaxing, chill music - then download here: nya - spaces
