Borrowed some cds from a friend...
Silverstein - Arrivals & Departures I got about halfway through and it's really not my thing. It won't be sticking around. Others to go through: Punk Goes Acoustic Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Hellogoodbye - Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! We'll see if there's anything worthwhile. edit: I'll add I few more I picked up recently Silversun Pickups - Carnavas Seeing them in March with Muse so I thought I'd give this a listen. I've heard a bit of their second album which didn't sound phenomenal but this is supposed to be better. Death From Above 1979 - Romantic Rights EP One of my long time favorite bands. Thought I'd pick this up since I haven't heard the alternate versions of Romantic Rights and Pull Out. An Horse - Rearrange Beds A really sweet Australian guitar and drum duo that opened for Tegan and Sara last night. Indie pop rock kind of in the same vein as some of Tegan and Sara's stuff. This is my favorite album at the moment. Last edited by +81; 01-13-2010 at 12:21 AM. |
