Twas listening to Metallica's version of Breadfan, then Budgie's and realized how amazingly good I think that song is. So now I have to have the album.

I've been wanting to check out some Budgie for quite some time but have yet to get around to it. How's the album?

Not sure yet, as I haven't had a chance to listen yet. But I plan too soon and will most definitely let you know!

You should put the good ones in the albums you're digging thread because I think quite a few of us would be interested in checking those out. Pretty please :D

When you get them, of course.

Good Idea ... If there is much I can see on the net, I think I can make some traditional Chinese music thread in the World/Folk music section - (Tho usually my threads die such a painful death).

I don't really buy albums or download anymore, all about discographies. But I'm looking forward to these guys debut. If it's anything like their first single, they may be the first new band with any real talent in a looooong time. (IMO, I invite you to prove me wrong.)

youtube search "The Bank Dogs"

I took my time getting this album because of the disappointing reviews. I finally manned up and got it today and I'm just about to listen to it. I hope I'm not as turned off by this album as a lot of people I know are.

Not really bad, just dries up at a few spots. There are some pretty kickass moments though. Scumbag Blues and Elephants are both solid tracks.

Pivot - Make Me Love You More

An interesting post-rock album with heavy electronic influences. At times it seemed to get a little glitchy at times, however in a good way.

sidewinder 12-09-2009 11:27 PM

Glitch is good, unless overdone of course. Strange though that I never noticed much glitch in this album. Maybe it's subtle enough, or I'm just used to some amount of glitch in every electronic album I listen to so I don't even notice it or pay special attention to it.

Wait...Make Me Love You More? Is it a remix album? :D
