Secret Chiefs 3 - Book of Horizons

sidewinder recommended me this and I'm quite liking it more than Book M.

This was my first Primus album, too! Good ****. Les Claypool can be a bit overrated. Understandably so, but still, he's nothing with the rest of the band. Anyone ever attend his New Year's Eve Hatter's Ball in San Fransisco?

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
Finally decided to hear what all the fuss is about. Pretty damn great album! I'll try and get around to their other stuff soon. And yes i can't stop staring at that album cover either.

Chapterhouse - Whirlpool
This band has been staring at me in my Last.fm recommendations list for ages so i finally gave in. A very beautiful textured album, it will certainly grow on me.

Jamiroquai - Emergency On Planet Earth (1993)

Before these guys were shit, they were among the catchiest and tightest acid-jazz bands ever. Wonderful!

Out of Focus - Wake Up! (1970)

Sleazy essential Krautrock with fevered flute and delicious drumming in droves. Gotta love the song titles also, lol.

Bought these 2 albums tonight, finally finishing off his discography for me. Own everything he has put out now.
(Though, going by the pattern which he's put out Cd's in the past 10 years or so, he's due to put out something new in 2 or 3 months.) ><

Dieselboy - The Human Resource (2006)

Dieselboy - Drum and Bass Selection USA(1996)

Agreed! Whenever I say something about liking/enjoying Jamiroquai people give me the 'are you serious?' look. But you're right... lots of their stuff is just tops. I love it.

This was going to be the last one of their albums that I bought. I already have Papercut Chronicles which, in my opinion is extremely underrated. I saw it on ebay for six dollars, and I happened to have exactly six dollars on my card, so I figured, why not?

Cool. From what I hear it's their best one which is why I haven't been to quick to dig deeper.

My first as well, when "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" was being played on Headbanger's Ball back in the day. And I agree despite his skills and the awesomeness of this and a few other Primus albums, none of his other stuff has appealed to me. I just put on "Those Damned Blue Collar Tweekers"....fuck yes, this song rules.

How does this one compare to their self-titled, if you've heard it? It's the only one I have and I like it except the longest song annoys me.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
