Einstürzende Neubauten - Kollaps

May take a few listens to fully appreciate, but i'm digging the primitive Industrial sound. Raw as fuck

^ not as cohesive or brilliant as Drawings of Patient O.T. but still an impressive cache of headfuck. Blixa Bargeld is one of my favorite neolithic composers.

I tried listening to The Magnetic Fields awhile back, but for some reason I just couldn't get into any of their works. I think I should just leave The Magnetic Fields to the hip kids.

I'll get on that as soon as I get home! Thanks, Pete!

I'm on a Ska tip ATM so recently got these:

All top notch release with reverence to the original sound whilst throwing in a few other influences- Dub, Electronica, Jazz etc and no boring punkish riffs in sight.

Same here. I only did it because of the weekly trade thread, otherwise I didn't really have any prior interest.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

So, Jaha, this has nothing to do with the albums you posted or ska, but because you're the only other member I know of that's into Fat Freddy's Drop, what do you think of the new album? I haven't retrieved it yet, but will soon. It's just, I highly respect your opinion, so let me have it! I'm listening to the album samp right now.

The first two tracks see them veering into an Electronic sound which doesn't suit them but it picks up so well with tracks such as The Raft, Pull The Catch and The Camel reaffirming my faith in their sultry sound. Just like this:

So damn good!
