Llyr - Unil Glew Ysgnd How I enjoy the crystalized corn-flake roar of a rare black metal demo. And I also picked up Hector Zazou's Corps Electriques, thanks for the up n' up Lee. This hits my cool-o-meter to screaming heights.

Nekromantix - Hellbound.
Pretty much what you'd expect on a psychobilly album; it doesnt deviate too much away from the standard conventions of the genre, and as a result it can seem a tad formulaic. The band seems to be fond of extended jams and overall the music lacks the inspiration and memorable hooks contemporaries such as The Meteors and Batmobile effortlessly conjure. Overall though, its creepy and fun, and thats all i was really expecting. |
