The Tangent - Down And Out In Paris And London (2009) Newest album by my favorite modern day supergroup, melding modern day production with Canterbury Scene-esque progginess in delightful and occasionally very curious ways. Quincy Jones - Sounds...And Stuff Like That! (1978) As slick as soul as soul can be! The remarkable cover of Herbie Hancock's 'Tell Me A Bedtime Story' is worth the price of admission in and of itself.

Gotta love the band and album name. That aside it's top notch noisy, groovy post hardcore with nods to Jesus Lizard. Bought this set today with the first 2 albums, a disc of rarities and a DVD all for £10.49. Bargain. The first album alone can fetch up to £25 online over here so my bid was well placed! Outtakes from the 1.Outside recording sessions. Great quality. Thanks to Bulldog.

Then my brother and I decided to get some album we never heard of, based on its cover. So we chose this:
Not that special for now, it might need some more listens
