Probably a good thing.

The Standard - Wire Post To Wire

Calla - Scavengers

Slowly I begin to wade into the pool that is indie music. Taking my time to carefully submerge myself and looking out for pockets of urine.

Thats fine. I was referring to only the cover. I would never listen to the actual record.

Eels - Electro-Shock Blues

Cursive - The Ugly Organ

Mclusky - Mclusky Do Dallas

Mclusky gets bonus points for being Welsh. So far I've only listened to Electro-Shock Blues but it's very well written and quite interesting, a good way to start off my weekend of nothing but new indie music.

one of my favorite post-90s indie albums. i haven't paid attention to anything Neil Finn's done since mclusky, but that album is glorious.

Piano Magic - Low Birth Weight

Tipper - Surrounded

the latter is a bit of a sidetrack from my intended "indie rock only" weekend, however good trip hop is hard to come by and this just sounded too amazing to pass up.

Finally uploaded the files I had to make up In Rainbows Disc 2 to my device.... some darn good listening to be sure! Can see how alot of these tracks don't fit into the scheme of In Rainbows, yet they do have a fairly familiar "recorded from the same sessions" feel to them...
