High Wolf - Incapulco

13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators

It's kinda ****ed up I haven't heard this before...

Plankton Wat - Dawn of the Golden Eternity

I pretty much don't know what to expect from any of this, I've heard a few songs by 13th Floor Elevators and that's it.

In the process of downloading Godskitchen Pure Trance Anthems from iTunes. I'm excited for the outcome.

@Janszoon - i wasn't big on Vex'd either =/
Haven't listened to the Jello Biafra yet either, but the samples sounded good. I heard Billy Gould from Faith No More played bass on the recording. But since he's touring with Faith No More, Andrew Weiss has taken over for touring. Both excellent bassists.

As for Vex'd, I haven't explored too much of Planet Mu's catalog this decade because I've only slowly warmed up to dubstep in general and whatever you want to call this stuff. So while the samples sounded good to me, I may end up feeling the same way about it as you two. I like breaks and industrial, and this supposedly has a bit of both. We'll see.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I haven't heard Reverie, let me know how you think they compare.

Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions
Apart from 'Captain' and 'Mountains' (the latter really shouldn't have been included in this album) this sounds like the album they should have made instead of Puzzle. Although it's not quite as good as Infinity Land there are some excellent tracks such as Bubbles, God & Satan and Booooom, Blast And Ruin. It's an album that will keep both the newer Puzzle fans happy and the older Biffy Army happy.

And to replace my battered, scratched, skipping original cd

Nirvana - Bleach (20th Anniversary Edition)
Worth buying for the live show recording alone, which is mind-blowing. Pretty cool booklet as well.

And last but not least

Boards Of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children
Finally got this and it's just as good as Geogaddi. Has a more trip-hop feel to it as well.

They're essentially the same album, but with two extra tracks. Very atmospheric and great music for writing or just chilling out. If you liked their self-titled album then you'll most likely enjoy Reverie because it's pretty much more of the same.

Castillo - Noir

Being going through a bit of a Post-Metal phase right now, trying to find some new artists but also going back and re-examining some of the other bands of that genre like Neurosis, Solefald, Russian Circles, Daturah etc.

You might like Year of No Light, whose album is also named Noir. A bit like ISIS I'd say.
