You Say Party! We Say Die! - Lose All Time Has a few low spots but is still very good. Doesn't beat Hit the Floor though. Young Widows - Old Wounds Heard their ep, first time with the full length. I've been digging this kind of These Arms Are Snakes/Metz kind of stuff lately. Genghis Tron - Laser Bitch Demo Contains one of my favorite songs by them. Really really catchy stuff. One of their best if not the best I've heard by them. I'm probably going to give it another listen right now. |

How'd you like this? I thought it was great, on par with Music By Cavelight, which I prefer to Downtown Science. Still need to track down Uncle Tony's Coloring Book too...
Obviously I got Blockhead. Also: Bonobo - Animal Sounds I don't rightly know what the hell it is, but for whatever reason I'm seriously digging instrumental hip hop and downtempo right now and I'm trying to find a bunch of the Ninja Tunes artists I missed this year. This one's pretty good, nice and jazzy |

Flying Saucer Attack "Mirror"
Pretty much like any other FSA album, I did notice that David opted for a more electronic sound, which is welcome by me. "Mirror" still keeps the trademark sound of FSA, but brings something new into this clusterfuck of glorious noise. I'm really hoping that Mr. Pearce will resurface again someday, it get's a bit tiresome waiting for some new material. |
