Downloaded most of the tracks from Something for Kate's Desert Lights album... still waiting for three more to Limewire... then I have my album back! I had the original disc but someone in the house lost it!

I got this one ... after many recommendations. Very nice album indeed.

And to begin my Dead Can Dance journey, I got that one:

St. Vincent "Actor"

I could listen to "Marrow", "Laughing Mouth Full of Blood" and "Actor Out of Work" for hours.

It's a shame that these guys are on the new twilight soundtrack, this is some pretty good ****, reminiscent of Spacemen 3, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Jesus & Mary Chain.

Howl was an immense fucking album as well, it's a damn shame BRMC went down the path they did. i guess they gave up all the influences and decided to bend around the whole regurgitated Led Zeppelin stereotype.

Totally agree - although I like the first album a lot more than Howl. I can't blame them for playing what they wanna play - but now it sounds like wasted talent to me.

That's a great album! Also, of course, get their debut, and Black Dots is an important one as well (it's a remaster of a recording session they did in 1979).

Not the best Gainsbourg album, but still a must have.
